Over the decades, it evolved from a simple bird sanctuary into a well-respected conservation center. 5. Fairmont Park

Fairmont Park is in Sugar House but it’s very near Liberty Wells. It’s one of the area’s largest parks, covering 30 acres. The park has a large pond where ducks and other wildlife meander in a peaceful setting.
Fairmont Park has a skate park, basketball courts, soccer fields, and a swimming pool at the nearby Fairmont Aquatic Center. The playground area is great for kids, with modern equipment and plenty of space to run around. The park also features picnic areas with pavilions.
There is a trail that connects to the Sugar House Draw and Parley’s Trail, giving you a scenic route for walking, jogging, or biking.

Imagine juicy burgers with hot, fresh, crinkle-cut fries, shakes, and all the essentials done right. Millies also serves hotdogs and other comfort food. It’s simple, inexpensive, and a fun place to get a taste of the good old days.
Millie’s isn’t out there trying to be fancy—it’s just good food done well.
2. East Liberty Tap House

East Liberty Tap House is a laid-back neighborhood pub in Salt Lake City’s 9th & 9th District. It offers great food, craft beers, and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying a casual meal or hanging out with friends. The menu is straightforward but delicious, featuring elevated pub fare including burgers, tacos, and creative sides like fried cauliflower. They also have vegetarian options, which is a nice touch.

Enjoy foods like tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, along with house specials that bring a fresh twist to classic recipes. They also have delicious appetizers like street corn and chips with house-made salsas. The drinks are a highlight too, with margaritas, aguas frescas, and other Mexican-inspired cocktails that pair perfectly with the food.
