Some of the most popular ski resorts in the country are less than an hour away. Visit Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Ski Resort, Alta Ski Resort, Snowbird, Brighton Resort, and Solitude Mountain Resort. Don’t ski? That’s okay, these mountainous are just as thrilling in every season. Spring brings wildflowers, summer invites hiking and biking, and in the autumn Mother Nature’s colors are on full display.

National Parks & Monuments: People travel from throughout the world to visit Utah’s national parks and monuments. Many of them are easily within driving distance of the city including Arches, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks.

High-Tech Industry: In January 2023, WalletHub ranked Utah the #1 best place to start a business in the nation. The publication cited Utah as the state with the second-highest average growth in the number of small businesses, and it tied with South Dakota and North Dakota for the #1 best place to access financing. High-tech often equates to higher wages; that’s a great way to keep a local economy moving.
